Hi
It's been a long time since I posted but I was waiting for something
good. Here it is. There is a male Garganey duck at Iona S.E. pond in
Richmond, BC. It was observed last night by many people. It's in eclipse
stage but the distinctive eyestripe is very visible. This is the fifth
recorded sighting for BC. There is also a Northern Mocking bird around the
fence separating the ponds.
