Heard bobwhites on Shaw in May. Never could find them though. Great call. Sharp
and Lewis mention their occurrence in their book on birds in the San Juans.


Finally getting some murrelets on some of our transects. Wonder where they've
been?

Watched a rufous hummer flycatch for insects yesterday morning. Was great to
then read about their switch to insects from nectar on tweeters.

Drying out quickly in the islands.
