Monday, June 26, 7:26 pm. Doug Watkins from Bainbridge Island, 842 7131. Yesterday, Sunday, while
birding at Point No Point, I noticed a SCRUB JAY flying back and forth several times across the
marsh, being chased by CROWS and several RED WINGED BLACKBIRDS. It was there for about half an
hour, and then commenced to fly west. Thank you. That's all. Good birding.

Monday, June 26, 2:26 pm. Dave Beaudette, 206-365-2083. A wildlife sighting report for Snohomish
Co. for 6/25. At the Stanwood sewage treatment ponds the male GREATER SCAUP that I first reported
as being there on 5/6 is still there, and on 6/25 it was seen with a female GREATER SCAUP. Also at
the Stanwood sewage treatment ponds were 4 LESSER SCAUP, 6 RUDDY DUCKS, and at the north marshl, a
SORA was heard. At the Snohomish treatment ponds was an immature male BULLOCK'S ORIOLE, a very
large concentration of enormous bullfrog tadpoles, at the west end of the large west pond. Swimming
among the tadpoles were 3 river otters, and nearby a GREAT BLUE HERON was fishing from shore. On the
fence at the southeast pond, were about 30 adult CEDAR WAXWINGS flycatching for insects. That's all
for now. Good birding.
