Last year I kept hearing a bird near my apartment and could not place it. It was a burry long drawn out note. I started hearing it again this week and again I was going mad trying to place it. Well, my niece heard it and went looking for it and it was a varied thrush! We now have varied thrush in Federal Way. Yes, it's not rare or exotic but I'm excited anyway. Whoopee!
