Sunday, February 26, 7:19 PM. Hi, this is Sam Terry, (206) 329-9038. Today
in the Winthrop area of the Methow Valley, along the road that goes to
Pearrygin Lake State Park, I had a flock of about 30 COMMON REDPOLLS and
also a flock of about 100 GRAY-CROWNED ROSY FINCHES. This is presumably
part of the same group that was reported from this area earlier to
TWEETERS. And, also in Twisp, I found a flock of BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS off
Ainsworth [?] Road that has also been reported to TWEETERS.
Yesterday, the 25th, I had SNOW BUNTINGS around Azilla Fitzmark [?] Ski
Area and in a couple of places along the Wakefield-Cameron Lake Road.

Monday, February 27, 9 PM. Hi, this is Stephen Mlodinow. Today Dennis
Duffey and I birded from Port Gamble to Port Angeles. A lot of waterbirds
seem to be on the move. Good numbers of BRANTS and OLDSQUAW and other
seabirds. Highlights included 4000 SURF SCOTERS, a thousand GREATER SCAUP
and 280 OLDSQUAW at Port Gamble; a SEMIPALMATED PLOVER at the Three Crabs
Restaurant Pond and a WHIMBREL and 2 RUDDY TURNSTONES at Ediz Hook. That's

Yesterday, My wife and I, at Ocean Shores, had 2 ROCK SANDPIPERS at the
base of the Point Brown Jetty.
