Hey tweeters,

I had only last night participated in a discussion of the sharp-shinned hawk
that had been terrorizing the chickadees around these parts. This morning I
decided to have a peek at the flowers in the backyard and as I rounded a
curve in the path, lying before me was the bird in question. I cannot
determine cause of death; it appears the bird may have simply crashed into
the stones of the path. He is poised as in flight.

For those interested in viewing the creature, I'll be around tomorrow
morning. Call 329-3672.
