Hey tweets,

Three years back I was attending grad school at Antioch University Seattle
when it was still on Second Ave. in Belltown. I recall that on more than one
occassion I came across pairs of pigeon wings lying on the sidewalk that
appeared to have been surgically separated from da rest of da boid. It did
bring my eyes up to scan the high rise condos in the neighborhood...never
did see what I suspected to be the Washington Mutual peregrines. Also, when
spring and summer came around, it was tough to keep focused when I'd see
Balds and Redtails soaring out over Elliot Bay during class on
psychodiagnostics.

BTW, up here in little B'berg, we've had multiple sightings of Cooper's Hawk
in the downtown area. There's even a pretty substantial rumor that a nest in
a downtown sycamore is a Coop nest. And just 2 days ago, I saw an adult male
Sharpie being mobbed by a couple of macho crows just a few blocks from where
I work on the southside.

Good birding all,
