Hello Tweeters,
Since i wrote about the Anna's behavier last time on 3-9- things shanged in
feeding behavier on the feeders. This two Hummingbirds are only comming
twice a day, real early and this before it get's dark. Today while sitting
eating Dinner, the female came and took a long time taken sips out of the
feeder as if she was starving. After that she was sitting next to the feeder
waiting. As i was looking in to the high tree with it's pink blossom,i am
seeing the male, comming down real fast and landing on the females head and
start circling her. There both than took of, high in to the air, loosing
them out of sight. I remember when my Rufous trying to mate there did this
right when i was watching and manly in the day time. This two birds acting
all different in there mating both taken of.
I wish i would taken photos when the male Anna's was standing on the
females head, but this happen so fast not having my camera next buy.I still
dont have a Rufous yet, and it's getting late since i have my Wild Currant
in full bloom.
