Subject: Marymoor CHANGE notice

Cumulatively over the years, several dozen people have joined me on these
walks. I am sending this message out to Tweeters to try to reach anyone who
may have been planning to join me one spring morning, to make sure that they
arrive on the right day!

After literally years of doing my Marymoor birdwalks on Thursday mornings, an
abundance of factors is causing me to change the day to WEDNESDAY.

Starting MARCH 29, I will be doing my walks starting at 7:00 AM on Wednesdays.

Note that this is also a time change (switching to the non-winter schedule of
7:00 AM).

I begin my walk at the southwest corner of the Off-leash Dog Area parking lot,
head south along the slough to the lake platform, then return via the
"Interpretive Trail", finally cutting back across the grass soccer fields to
the cars. The total distance is about 1.5 miles. I then head over to the
newly opened Marymoor West/Rowing Club/West Marymoor Natural Area (at about
48th St and West Lake Samm Parkway) for about another half-hour. Total time is
usual 3.5 - 4 hours! This is not a "field trip" and I do not "lead" it. I am
there to walk the loop and to see, hear, enjoy, and count the birds present.
Usually I am joined by 1- 3 other people, occasionally more. If anyone wants
to join me on a future WEDNESDAY, drop me an email.

I will be doing my last Thursday walk on March 23, at 7:30 AM.
