Subject: Possible Hoary Redpoll Update

Tweeters,

The possible Hoary Redpoll was seen again at the feeder around two in
the afternoon today (March 14th). He continues to be in a flock of Common
Redpolls. However the number of redpolls seems to be steadily dropping, as
I only saw twelve today. They may be heading north. Thanks to everyone who
continues to help me with my identification of this interesting bird. Does
anyone know if a Common Redpoll can have a small unstreaked white patch on
its rump? The answer to this question would help me.
