Hi Tweeties!

My friend just called to tell me about a strange place a bird decided to
nest!

The way he described it sounds like it's a KILLDEER ( light tan, about
pigeon sized with a dark ring around the breast). The nest is across the
street from the Four Winds restaurant in Des Moines (about 22612 7th Ave
S.), right on the edge of the street! He told me the nest has two little
tan eggs with black spots on it. The nest is edged with rocks. He saw the
bird sitting on the nest just this evening.

A KILLDEER with a premature clutch of eggs? A real stooooopid bird?
My guess is the nest is doomed.
