Actually, I think the bird that got me hooked was a Bushtit. I would be
walking around the Pacific Lutheran University campus in the wintertime and
occasionally catch glimpses of tiny balls of gray fluff flitting around in
the evergreens. I decided I had to figure out what those little things were,
and I've been hooked ever since. And I still love Bushtits.
