Mine was a "courting" common nighthawk, when I was about 10 years old. I was
staying with an aunt and uncle who lived in a very urban area of Chicago,
near an expressway. The lights appeared to attract insects aand there for
nighthawks. The males' flight in display was unbelieveable!
