Tweeters, Several years ago I took Dennis Paulsons class on Master Birding.
In the class he recommended an old book. It was publised in the 1920 or so
and was green and about the birds of the Pacific states or the Pacific
Northwest; I'm not sure which. Any way I found a book by Hoffman, Birds of
the Pacific States; I have yet to sit down and get a good look at; except
for looking at some of the unusual names (Duck Hawk, and Ferruginous
Rough-legged Hawk, Farallon
Cormorant, to name a few), this is quite a fasinating little book. Can
anyone tell me if this is the book and is my 5 year search is
over, or do I continue? Vicki Biltz
