Steve Sher and I birded near Monroe today, we managed to find Violet Green
and Tree Swallows and an even dozen different species of ducks at the Prison
Farm pond, including an Eurasian Widgeon. TheTwo Rivers Wildlife Management
Area was fairly quiet, but we did find and even half-dozen Wood Ducks (5
males and a female, what a great bird!)
