I've been observing a pair of "Oregon" Juncos in out front yard for the past
couple of days, and I always see the male and female together, picking up
seeds off the porch below the feeder. I can tell it is the same pair because
the male is missing a couple of tail feathers. How early in the year do
juncos pair-bond, and how early does nesting usually begin?
