It's been a while since I've had any gulls to chat about and
Ron Maertz was kind enough to send me one. It doesn't really
qualify as an "ugly gull" since it appears to be in fresh
plumage, but it shows some conflicting field marks that make
me (and made Ron) go hmmmm.
