On Tuesday all the employees of the Office of the Secretary of State gathered
on the steps of the capitol to pose for a picture with Secretary of State
Ralph Munro, who is retiring this year after twenty years in office.

The most interesting part (to my mind, anyway) was after the pictures were
done, when a gorgeous adult Bald Eagle coasted up and alighted atop a douglas
fir tree, maybe 100 meters from where we were standing!
