Hi Jacki,
Interesting question...As master of the bird-listing universe, I would rule
(unfortunately) that you need to experience the bird 'first-hand' to count
it. What if you were living in Africa and could access the falco-cam over
the internet...I don't think you would count it. Or what about looking at a
tape that was recorded five minutes ago. That's no different than watching a
TV show about falcons. So the issue is reduced to a question of space/time
proximity... and that's not very satisfying...

Speaking of the Falco-cam...

Here's a life list question: Does it "count" as a sighting if you're
watching the falcon nesting box on the monitor in the lobby of the WaMu
building? Or do you have to stand outside and wait until you see one
flying onto or from the ledge?
