This morning (3/25) I took my grand niece and her Brownie Troop (7 year olds) birding at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. Violet-green Swallows dotted the sky. Mixed in were 2 or more Northern Rough-winged Swallows. Not much else of note. I didn't find the Eared Grebe I saw there 2 weeks ago. We had a total of 35 species for the morning. The girls had fun. I hope that some go on to become birders.
