Rose Dubois and I birded East Grays Harbor County for a few hours Saturday
morning. Found 58 birds in great weather. Strangely, shorebirds (except
Killdeer) were completely missing.

Highlights:
1 Osprey (but all the nests we checked were still empty)
2 occupied Bald Eagle nests (hopefully the others were simply not being
occupied at the time we were looking)
4 Rufous Hummingbirds
2 Blue-winged Teal
8 Turkey Vultures
1 Barn Owl

On another note, "my" Violet-green Swallow pair has returned and are setting
up house once again. Hopefully, they'll be joined this year by another
pair.
