Yesterday (Saturday) I participated in the regatta at Green Lake in a
novice boys' four and a novice boys' eight. During both races I noticed
several VIOLET-GREEN and possibly TREE SWALLOWS racing along with the boat,
catching a bug here or there. They were my first swallows of the year,
telling me that it is definitely spring!
