Hi,

habitat for Golden Eagles is the drier interior where they glide along cliffs,
and
surprise small mammals. However, on the Squamish Eagle counts, there was
regularly 1 or 2 Golden Eagles reported (amid 1000-2000 Bald Eagles). I have
seen myself one in the Squamish Estuary. Also, Michael Price reported the
occasional Golden Eagle circling over Vancouver where normally Bald Eagles are
at home.
So, very different habitats, but they can occur in the same spots - keep the
possibility in mind, and look out for immature eagles with big white windows in
their wings.
