Names, I plan to add it to my library.
Another reference book which is useful, not just for birds but for
studies of most scientific names is ; DICTIONARY OF WORD ROOTS AND
COMBINING FORMS by Donald J. Borror. First printed in 1960 it is still
available and costs $9.95. (paperback) Reviews and other info can be found
in the usual on-line book source.
