The Ugly Gull Page is back on line with comparisons of
image quality on the two recently circulated versions of
Elva Paulson's Ringless-billed Gull.

Image quality is always an issue when evaluating photos
sent over the internet. Variations in the kind of monitors
that different people have attached to their computers is
great enough that interpretations are likely to diverge.

But the suggestion of forgery reared its head with this
image which led us into an entirely different discussion.
