Hi:
Spotted the first Canada Geese of the year on Stuart Lake yesterday and
heard a Varied Thrush this morning. There are some Ducks on the Lake that
look like Lesser Scaups but I was too far away and I didn't have my scope so
I am not positive. There are still a few Trumpeter Swans on the river along
with the Common Goldeneye that spend the winter. Not much of the ice has
melted yet but it was +8c here today so it will be starting soon.
