Hi, the song sparrow is merely being territorial, very common this time of
year; and is reacting to its own reflection thinking it is another bird.
I've had black capped chickadees do this; and robins are the worst about
it. I know of one who only quit when the window it was attacking was
covered in blood(maybe he thought it was the enemies, or maybe he went off
and died somewhere, who knows) Vicki Biltz Bonney Lake Wa.
