Chipping Sparrows do nest -- abundantly -- in a small area near
Lester in the upper Green River drainage in southeastern King County.
They have also sometimes been found in the breeding season in the
northeast corner of King County, from five or ten miles below Stevens
Pass on up, but there is no confirmed nesting evidence of Chipping
Sparrow from that area in the King County Breeding Bird Atlas.
