Yellow Warblers were abundant at Johnson's Marsh at Ft. Lewis on Tuesday.
They were singing, feeding and flitting as four of us scoped Yellow-headed
Blackbird, Wood Duck, and Purple Martin. The appearance of the male Western
Tanager delighted our eyes as did the Bald Eagle that was soaring so very
high in the sky. Western Bluebird and Western Meadowlark shared our day
