I feel compelled to add my comments to the State Bird debate...

Following the criteria as mentioned in previous postings:
1)unique to our state/area,
2)present in Eastern & Western Washington,
3)not used by other states, and
4)a member of Family Paridae.....OK, so I added this one! :>)

I hereby nominate the Chestnut-backed Chickadee!

So, how do we go about having it changed?
