Transcription: Monday, May 1, 4.46 PM. Hi, this is Lynn Givler(sp) (360)
966-4906. A Western Kingbird was seen in Whatcom County, 1/4 mile South of
North Pass Rd where it intersects with Dieter Rd. Thats all, thank you.

Monday, May 1, 5.02 PM. Hi this is Dave Beaudette
(206) 365-2083. Birded Snohomish Co and Spencer Is today. At Spencer Is had
13 L. B. Dowitchers, 40 Western Sandpipers; at Everett Sewage Ponds 40 Vaux
Swifts; at River Meadows Co Park near Arlington a GREY FLYCATCHER was studied
for 27 minutes, in which I noted the extensive tail dipping, also noted a
high number of calling Hammonds Flycatchers; also noted a Black-throated Grey
Warbler and a Pacific Slope Flycatcher.
To locate the GREY FLYCATCHER: after leaving Jordon
Rd, enter on paved which becomes gravel, then paved again; note gate on rt,
park there but DO NOT BLOCK GATE, you will notice another gate, go around it
and about 200 feet there is a pile of old lumber with some fruit trees near
it. The flycatcher was seen in some apple or plum trees at bottom of the
hill. Good luck, hope you find the bird.

Tuesday, 2:47 P.M., Hello this is Steve Mlodinow, today
Dennis Duffy and I birded Skagit Game Range and River Meadows County
Park(near Arlington). At the River Meadows Co Park we saw the GREY
FLYCATCHER, a Willow Flycatcher Nashville Warbler, and a White-throated
Sparrow.
At Skagit Game Range, a Willow Flycatcher and the
White-throated Sparrow was seen along the dike leading off to the boat launch.
The GREY FLYCATCHER at River Meadows Co Park was pretty
much where Dave Beaudette said it to be, in some plums perhaps at the bottom
of the hill where some fruit trees are planted, near an old limber pile.
Thats all good birding!

Tuesday, May 2, 9:21 PM, Hi, this is Brad Wilson (253)
845-3216, at 10:00AM today, at Nisqually NWR a Harris's Sparrow was seen in
full breeding plumage on the far dike trail in the NW corner with a
White-crowned Sparrow. The Harris's Sparrow was quite tame and you can get
close to it.
