Mary, the best and least expensive gear I have found, is at McLendons, for $20
each piece. Its heavy duty, lined, oversized overalls, with elastic straps, and
the coat, with hood; is oversized as well.It comes in green and orange, and is
the same gear the road crews wear, but of course they always have the
orange.(which means it leaves all the green for US!!!) I love it because, you
can put it over yourclothes without having to disrobe and you stay very
warm...The pants usually go over the boots with little trouble. I'm a
cheapskate, and this works great for me. Sorry I don't know the name of the
brand but they will know at the store...Vicki Biltz sawwht85b at netscape.net

Hello Tweeters! When y'all are out birding in the rain, what sort of
outerwear do you prefer? I understand that generally, bright colors and
"swishy"-sounding fabrics aren't good birding apparel. What is there that
keeps you dry and doesn't make lots of noise when you move your arms?
Thanks!

Cheers,
