Should probably point out, however, that Steller's Jay is B.C.'s provincial
bird.

If they ever got around to making a state out of SE Oregon and NW California,
I'd have to recommend Western Scrub Jay or Clark's Nutcracker.

For an E Wash./N Idaho/NE Ore./W Mont.(/SE B.C. :-)) state, it would have to
be Black-billed Magpie or Clark's Nutcracker again.

(Yeah, I actually spend time thinking about weird stuff like that)
