While kayaking around Magnolia on Saturday afternoon I saw two male
Harlequin ducks offshore from Discovery Park - one offshore from the sewage
plant and the other a couple of hundred yards south. They were both were
more than willing to let me paddle by them within 20 feet or so. Beautiful
birds.
