The Rehab Director of the PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in
Lynnwood, Deb Dyson (Tel. 425-787-2500, ext. 816), asked me to ask you
Tweeters if any of you know where there are any Common Mergansers raising
chicks. The Center has a single baby Common Merganser which it would like
to "foster" out to a family of Mergansers. If you know the location of any
C. Mergansers with chicks, please contact Deb Dyson at the above telephone
number or via e-mail to debdys2712 at aol.com. I think they would be willing
to travel quite a ways to place this chick.
