Hello, Tweeters,
My Violet-Green Swallows just swarm me when I'm clipping my horse. They'll snap up swaths of horse hair right out of the air. yuck patooey, having had horse hair in my mouth on more occasions than I care to think of, I only wonder how a swallow with no fingers manages to get horse hair out of it's mouth.
On a second note, when I was a kid, we had Samoyeds (white huskies with looooong hair). The birds would go nutsoid when we'd brush them. Every bird box we had had tons of dog hair in them.
