Sounds like you had a great trip! But I would say that, if you heard a
Chukar calling (and the call is pretty obvious), you can count it as a
lifebird. In my opinion, we tend to have a bias toward our sight, but our
hearing is just as reliable (in some cases more) as way to experience a
bird.
