Hello.

I just joined Tweeters a few weeks ago and have been enjoying reading everyone's
contributions. Especially the trip reports. I have a 15 month old daughter
and a second one expected in October, so I don't get to go out bird watching
very much right now.

I did try to go out to the Tualco Wildlife Area last week though, but I didn't
realize that I needed a parking permit from the Fish & Wildlife Service. Does
anyone know where I could get one of these and how much they cost?

On an aside - my little family and I drove out to Kayak Point this morning and
saw a beautiful Great Horned Owl perched in a Douglas Fir on the side of the
road!
