Hello Tweeters,
After going all day birding today.comming home late ,i found a male Black-headed Grosbeak on one of my feeders.Also few moments ago getting almost dark,i saw my first Swaison's Thrush in my back yard.This is the earliest sofar for the thrush here in fircrest.
This are the arriving dates since 1997for the Swainson's Thrush:
1997 May 18---1998 May 16---1999 May 19--2000 May 13
Here are the arriving dates for the Black-headed Grosbeak:
1997 May 25--1998 May 11--1999 May15 2000 May 13.
The Blackheaded Grosbeaks breeding around here but the Swainson's Thrush usual staying the most one week around.I also discovert that i have juvenile Anna,s Hummingbirds who comming on a regular time almost every few minutes to our three feeders.
