Big movements of BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS and WESTERN TANAGERS
over the weekend. Two WESTERN KINGBIRDS were on Coxcomb Hill
Sunday morning. Two TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRES were reported
by Todd Thornton at Shively Park (Astoria) on Saturday.

A MOURNING DOVE was at the Neawanna Wetlands on Saturday.

The two immature BALD EAGLES are still holding Bird Rocks
at Ecola State Park. Most of the COMMON MURRES are staying
in the water. About 800 were on Sealion Rock and some look
to be using the sub-optimal rocks at Indian Point.

27 HARLEQUIN DUCKS were hauled out at Haystack Rock (Cannon
Beach), but TUFTED PUFFIN numbers seemed low. Four REDHEAD
were on the Cannon Beach Sewage Ponds as was a female AMERICAN
WIGEON, apparently with ducklings (which look like maybe dad
was not a wigeon).
