Transcription: Thursday, May 11th, 5:52 A.M.. Hello, this is Dave Beaudette
(206) 365-2083, reporting for Snohomish County. Had a single WESTERN
KINGBIRD West of Lake Tye in Monroe; another North of U.S. Hwy 2 at Mile
Post 6.3. At the Snohomish sewage treatment ponds in some trees and brush
west of the larger pond was a NASHVILLE WARBLER.

Thursday, May 11th, 11:04 P.M. Hi this is Tom Aversa (206) 782-7342,
reporting for Gray?s Harbor County: lots of shorebirds; good numbers at the
golf coarse at high tide. Damon Point had 55 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE and
1 breeding plumaged LAPLAND LONGSPUR. Ocean Shores sewage ponds had 6
WILSON?S PHALAROPES. On the way back East, along Brady Loop Road had lots of
shorebirds including 6 PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVERS, 29 RUDDY TURNSTONES (turning
over corn stubble); also lots of BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS and SEMI-PALMATED
PLOVERS along the loop road. A SANDHILL CRANE was seen along Foster Road,
perhaps injured by the way it held it?s wing.

Saturday, May 13th, 4:04 A.M. Hi this is Dave Beaudette (206) 365-2083
reporting for May 12 when I saw a male LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE at the South end of
the sewage treatment ponds along Langus Park Waterfront Trail. Thats all and
good birding.

Saturday, May 13th, 7:09 P.M., this is Gene Revelas, Tacoma, got a call from
Bruce Lebar in Gray?s County and he reports a SNOWY EGRET at Tokeland.
The bird is in the marina, just behind the boat launch and store. He saw the
bird about 4:30 P.M. today.

Saturday, May 13th, 8:35 P.M. Hi, this Steve Mlodinow, birded with Bill
Tweit today, Whidbey and Skagit County. Had 1 WILSON?S PHALAROPE and I
GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE at Freeland; at Crockett?s Lake 1 SEMI-PALMATED
SANDPIPER; at Swantown 20 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED and 2 REDHEADS. At Odwalla
Bay (sp??) 1 ROSS? GOOSE, late but a good bird for Whidbey Is. At March
Point a very late HARLAN?S HAWK, plus 100 BRANT. The Stanwood sewage ponds
showed 2 REDHEAD and 2 WILSON?S PHALAROPE;. thats all and good birding.

Sunday, May 14th, 1:25 P.M. This is Ken Aneurd (sp???) observed a MANX
SHEARWATER for about 3-4 minutes flying in the channel between Westport and
Ocean Shores. Also good numbers of SOOTY SHEARWATERS were seen offshore.
