Hi,

I went to Wallace Swamp Creek Park in Kenmore briefly
Monday evening to collect some plant samples (it is
only about 4 minutes away from my house).

I was, of course, tempting fate by not bringing my
binocs "just in case" but they do repel birds you
know. Anyway, I did have my first SWAINSON'S THRUSHES
of the year, as well as my first fledgling Spotted
Towhee and a Willow Flycatcher. The highlight of the
evening though, was a pair of WOOD DUCKS scoping out
some likely looking nest holes.
