Brock,

I'm seeing multiple bears in the neighborhood. They've even seemed to have
learned the schedules for garbage days and are moving from neighborhood to
neighborhood to take advantage of the large human provided take out
containers. It isn't a good situation for man or bear alike.

On the same front the coyotes that were regular residents in our
neighborhood are now nowhere to be found. The reason? Maybe it is that a
young cougar has moved into the Forest Glen / Hilltop / Summit neighborhood.
He is taking cats, dogs, deer, etc... We're squeezing the natives too
tightly and they are being pushed into the neighborhoods - I love it - but
others are frightened and complaining to DFW, animal control and others.

Get the feeders down, batten down the garbage and make sure the bear is
unwelcome for his sake - the heck with the humans.
