Transcription: Monday, May 15th, 2:23 P.M. Hi this is Stephen Mlodinow, at
the game range today, thats the Skagit Game Range, there was a DUSKY
FLYCATCHER, moderate numbers of Passerine migrants; at the Stanwood Sewage
Ponds there were 7 REDHEAD, and 2 WILSON?S PHALAROPES; also BLUE-WINGED TEAL
have arrived in numbers with a total of about 30 in scattered locations
during the morning in northern Snohomish and Skagit Counties. Thats it, good
birding.

Tuesday, May 16th, 10:33 A.M. This is Craig Kemper (206) 789-9255.
Reporting for May 15. At 4:30 P.M. a LONG-BILLED CURLEW, 30 WHIMBREL were in
a freshly cut field east of Chuckanut Drive and North of Sunset Rd. On
Sunday, May 14 th, also in Skagit County, 1 WILSON?S PHALAROPE found in a
pond South of Doulshead (sp) Rd. just West of District Line Rd. in the Butler
Flats area which is East of Cook Rd exit off I-5. Also 1 WILSON?S PHALAROPE
East of Hwy 20 at MP 76 in a pond on the southside of Hwy. On Cockerham Rd,
S.E. of Lyman, 2 WESTERN KINGBIRDS were found in a riparian woodland along
the Skagit River. By taking North Lyman Ferry Rd. , there was 1 BULLOCK?S
ORIOLE, 1 HAMMOND?S FLYCATCHER, several SWAINSON?S THRUSH, 2 RED-BREASTED
SAPSUCKERS. Thank you, thats it.

Tuesday, May 16th, 11:15 A.M. Hi this is Stephen Mlodinow, today Kevin
Anurud (sp) and I birded around Skagit and Snohomish Counties; highlights
were a WESTERN KINGBIRD AND 2 SOLITARY SANDPIPERS on Ebby Island reached by
taking U.S. 2 East from Everett, then taking Hommaker(sp) Rd., going South on
Hommaker to 38th, then left on 38th. The SOLITARYS were in a flooded
pond on the northside of the road, the Kingbirds in the field to the South.
At the Everett Sewage Ponds there were 7 REDHEAD, 2 EARRED GREBES, and 1
female OLDSQUAW. Thats all, good birding.

Tuesday, May 16th, 9:59 P.M. Yes, this is Evelyn Peasly (206) 782-9018,
today we had an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER singing in a ravine in the North Beach
of Seattle, near where we live and it nests here every year. On Sunday, May
14th CASPIAN TERNS were flying North along the shore between Golden Gardens
Park and Gasket Park (Sp).

Wednesday, May 17th, 4:;52 A.M. This is Dave Beaudette (206) 365-2083,
reporting for May 16th and Snohomish County. The Stanswood Treatment ponds
had both BLUE-WINGED, CINNAMON TEAL common; 7 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS, 6 WESTERN
SANDPIPERS , 5 WILSON?S PHALAROPE, 1 male CANVASBACK, 7 REDHEAD, 1 BANK
SWALLOW, 1 male RING-NECKED DUCK. At nearby Smith Farms Wildlife area,
looking over Port Susan Bay were 4 WHIMBREL and 1 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER .

Wednesday morning at the Montlake Fill, 2 BANK SWALLOWS, 8 BLUE-WINGED TEAL,
