If you don't get the birds on the way up, try Blacky Spit, which is the boat
launch area at Crescent Beach, Surrey for Purple Martin. Also Pacific Spirit
Regional Park at the University of BC is great for both Hutton's Vireo and
Red-breasted Sapsucker. Queen Elizabeth Park is also on your way to 2nd and
Wylie, so stop there. It's good for Hutton's and other vireo species. As for
the Myna, they are usually on or near the janitorial supply building behind
Autotek Collision.

Best of Luck

Happy Birding!

This weekend we are planning on going to Vancouver, BC via North
Cascade highway. We are going to try for the CRESTED MYNA at 2nd and
Wylie. Our return trip can be North Cascade, Steven's Pass or
Snoqualame Pass

Does anyone have some good locations along or near these routes to see
any or all of these birds...MOUNTAIN QUAIL, HUTTON'S VIREO, PURPLE
MARTIN and RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER.

Thanks
