This afternoon I observed an adult male Lazuli Bunting along the
Jamestown Road north of Sequim. Was very surprised to see it. Last time
I saw this species was when I was the refuge biologist at Malheur N.W.
Refuge in southeast Oregon way back in 1960-64. Banded a total of 162
Buntings in those years. Beautiful little bird. Vibrant turquoise blue.
