The White-crowneds I'm used to hearing have an 8-note song:

low-high, med-high-med-high-med-reallyhigh [med = medium]
(how about, "I'm here -- take another look please")

It's interesting hearing different people's interpretations.

A few mnemonics I use:
Brown Creeper: "Me, climbing the tree".
Warbling Vireo: I call them "Galloping Vireos" because their song has a
galloping rhythm.
Yellowthroat: Yes, "wichity wichity" (sp?) works, but I just use
"yellowthroat, yellowthroat" -- same rhythm.

And yes, Bob Sundstrom's class is great!
