Especially when some women, like me, don't see any offense in the name
oldsquaw whatsoever. Come on, it's just a name. If such things offend you,
better not go to Yakima Training Center, where a small but very recognizable
mountain is called "Squaw's Tit." Nor should you go to the Tetons, which is
French for breasts. And for heaven's sakes, don't go to England or the
Continent, where a whole tribe of birds that we call chickadees are referred
to as "tits".
Please, let's let up on the enormously overblown sensitivities.Life is
difficult enough as it is. Just get over it.
