Hi Tweeties!
They finally arrived! I think they're great! Tasco Rare Bird California
Condor 10 x 42. Nice basic birding binoculars. And what's even greater is
my neck doesn't feel like it's being pulled out of joint with these!
And I checked out the Green River near my apartment. Here's what I spied:
BROWN CREEPER (first time sighting!)
BEWICK'S WREN (got into quite a conversation with one!)
SONG SPARROW
STELLAR'S JAY
SPOTTED TOWHEE (male and female)
COMMON MERGANSER (pair)
MALLARD (two half grown orphan ducklings)
BELTED KINGFISHER (male)
HOUSE FINCH (male)
A hawk of some kind....flew into the sun, so I couldn't ID it.
And one critter! A huge RIVER OTTER cruised upstream and spooked a couple
of mallards.
Ah it's wonderful to bird with binocs again!
