Hello Tweeters,
Un-Forseen circumstances prevented us to attending this years Wenas Campout.
This is the first time we missed since 1986.One good think we went in to Wenas on our Birdathon where we added our most species on our long list of birds including the "GRAY CATBIRD" and always the "GRAY FLYCATCHER "also the
" WHITE -HEADED WOODPECKER "comming out of the nest..
In Wenas one can get the most species all in one place where birds and animals are drawn to this particular area because of its rich flora and fauna,it's beautiful pine and fir clad hills, and the restful murmuring of the creeks and the breezes thrue the trees.
Patrick intend to led some few birders to the much wanted Flammulated Owls.
I apalogize for not be able to make the trip what was unfortune. There is always to looking forward to next year.
Seeing the Least Flycatcher again listed is a bonus to,we also had this bird last year on Oak Creek Game Range called Lower Hardy Canyon where birders had verry close looks at this bird what stayed around for some time. There been more sightings of this Least Flycatcher in recent years at wenas.
